The local ice cream parlor was housed in a converted street car.


Valley Foods was at the corner of Redwood Rd. and
Castro Valley Blvd.
L&M Drive-in was on the Blvd. in 1946

Castro Valley Blvd., still familiar looking. Lucca's Delicatessen is in the center
of this photo and in the same location today.
